FACTS. - Horman leased retail space to Pugsley for 20 years. Pugsley eventually sold his business to Sine with an assignment of the lease. Before concluding the acquisition, Sine requested an extension of the lease from Horman, but Horman refused, but said he was willing to extend when the lease was about to expire. Before the lease expired, Horman assigned his interest to Cottonwood. After the lease expired, Cottonwood notified Sine to vacate, but Sine refused.
